I'M SUCH A HATER

Nothing creeps me out more than those children's groups that destroy re-record their own versions of hit songs.  And "Kidz Bop" is one of the worst!

I'm not a Mom yet so maybe I don't understand, but I used to be a dance teacher, I have little cousins, and it's not like I don't like kids or anything...  I do like kids!  But for some reason these ones bother me, LOL.  To me, they just shouldn't be singing songs that feature Lil' Wayne... even if they cut out the rap part and change the lyrics.

This is the Kidz Bop version of "Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolph Ft/ Lil' Wayne.

Warning: it's painful.

I feel like I need therapy after watching that.

"Let it Rock" is from the Kidz Bop's 15th CD!  15??  That's disturbing.  That means someone is actually spending their money on them unfortunately...

I'll give them some credit, they do cover songs sometimes that are age appropriate such as "One Step at a Time" by Jordin Sparks, or "Better in Time" by Leona Lewis.

But on their new CD they also cover:

Pink "So What" - A nice angry little song for children about getting into bar fights!  Sweet.

Pussycat Dolls "When I Grow Up" -
So NOT appropriate.  Hopefully they don't wear junior PCD wardrobe too.

Chris Brown "Forever" -
The line: "Double your pleasure, double your fun."  CREEPY coming from a child!  I don't care if it's also the doublemint slogan.

Katy Perry "Hot N Cold" -
Again, the line: "You PMS like a B****, I would know!"  Enough said.

Maybe it's just me! But I would rather listen to Jan Terri...
