Kelowna Mission Race Down to 5

The number of candidates for the Liberal nomination in Kelowna Mission has been reduced to 5.

Nicole Bullock pulled her name out of the bid, and then told AM1150 that she is planning to back Steve Thompson.

Thompson, who has been campaigning the community, says that his campaign is gaining steam.

"We've been very encouraged with the level of support... for our bid...and we continue to work very hard over the next few weeks in secuirng that support...and take a good run at this"

Thompson says he appreciates Bullock's support, although he says its regrettable that she had to pull out of the race.
