WINE COUNTRY MUSIC FEST 2008 is proud to announce that Casey Clarke of CMT television will be on hand to film an episode of the "Chevy Cross Canada Countdown."

The concert will be held on the Penticton Speedway grounds. Country recording artist & 2008 Juno Nominee, JOHNNY REID, along with Vancouver's own JESSIE FARELL, will take the stage Sunday, August 3, 2008.

Country meets Racing will be the theme; as the KATANA Sportsman Racing Series, (Western Canada's largest at fastest racing series) will be taking to the track that weekend for a double header of racing.

It will be a great weekend of family entertainment! Two great days of racing followed by a huge outdoor concert.

Johnny Reid and Jessie Farrell are currently two of the biggest names in Canadian country music. With the addition of Casey Clarke, the CMT filming crew, and special guest appearances by many more of Canada's biggest country music stars, makes for an unbeatable weekend.

Watch for "COUNTRY STARS IN RACECAR's" as we hope to get Johnny, Jessie, Casey and others behind the wheel of one of the Okanagan Racing Experience's NASCAR type cars.(at least in the passenger seat ).
