Going Home is a profile/documentary of Robbie Robertson produced by the Disney Channel in 1998. The DVD covers his entire career, from the R&B of the 1950s to the Native American world music in the 1990s. Of course, Going Home also touches on Robertson's connections to Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan, as well as his experience as the founder of the Band, though less attention is given to his work with the hall of fame group than some fans would like. Disney compiles a good dose of rare footage and celebrity interviews (Eric Clapton, Martin Scorsese, Barry Levinson), but it is Daniel Lanois who is especially good at reflecting on Robbie Robertson's legacy.
