After 15 years as one of Canada's most lauded and consistently popular bands, Blue Rodeo offers their first hits package. A two-disc live album, Just Like a Vacation, released in 1999, covered a lot of ground but went a bit too deep for casual fans. Two extras are added, a far too sluggish version of the Bee Gee's "You Don't Know What It's Like" (borrowed via Gram Parsons' version, no doubt) and a demo fidelity recording of "After the Rain" from 1990's Casino. In between are the high points: the anthemic "Lost Together," their breakthrough single "Try," and "Side of the Road" from the group's psychedelic masterpiece Nowhere to Here. Read More
