This budget-priced 45-song collection on three CDs (in a slipcase) comes by way of Australia and covers most of the significant bases in Andy Williams' career, from "The Village of St. Bernadette" and "Moon River" through "Days of Wine and Roses" and into the 1970s with "Where Do I BeginNULL (Love Story)," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," etc. The recording dates cross three decades yet Williams is astonishingly consistent as a singer, his repertoire here embracing everything from George Gershwin and Henry Mancini to Leon Russell and Bob Crewe/Bob Gaudio, and while you might not care for all of the results, there's no arguing with the music's seductive nature on those who do enjoy it. Read More
