Water Levels May Rise

With temperatures in the 30's this weekend, don't leave home for the beach until you put your sand bags out.
Record temperatures means heavy snow melt, and that will result in major water flow to local creeks, including Mission Creek.
Kelowna Fire Chief Rene Blanleil says property owners are responsible for their lands, but the fire department is there to help.
Blanleil says local firehalls also are stocked with sandbags, but residents must supply their own sand.
The City will check potential trouble spots Monday to Friday.
