World Armwrestling Championships

The 30th annual World Armwrestling Championships are underway.

33 Countries from around the world have gathered in Kelowna to see who will take home the hardware.

Canadian Rene Deutsch, Armwrestling Master champion in 1984 is the competitions oldest competitor at the age of 86. Not by far though, there is another Brazilian competitor who is 84.

The event takes place all this week at the Delta Grand Okanagan hotel with the teams departing Sunday.
