Coopper goes to trial April 2010

The courts have set a date for Nicholas Coopper's murder trial.
As reported on Kelowna.com, jury selection is set to begin next spring, with proceedings against Coopper scheduled to begin April 12th 2010.
Cooper is accused of first degree murder for girlfriend Karen Smith's death, and second degree murder for Smith's son, Ayden.
The two were found dead in their Rutland townhome last December.
Police arrested Coopper at the scene, and he's been in custody ever since.
