Racism Funding

Kelowna-Lake Country MLA Al Horning has presented a cheque for 29 thousand dollars to Kelowna Community Resources.

The funding is designed to promote multiculturalism and prevent racism.

Groups across the province were given the opportunity to apply for the grant through Welcome-BC, a program that is designed to help   immigrants adapt to life in a new community.
