Woo Hoo.. Bring on the May Long!
Here is a great story about the "Ripple Effect!"
Today my sister and I were so excited to finally use our very first ripple effect card. We were driving around Westbank trying to figure out what to do when we decided to go to McDonalds for ice cream. As we were paying we overheard the drive thru guy putting the next customer on hold when we got REALLY excited and said to one another "THIS IS IT". So we looked at the worker and said "wait a minute, take that persons order and we'll pay for it" he gave us the "these woman are crazy look" and proceeded to take the customers order. We then paid for the order and explained to the McDonalds employee that he was to hand the ripple effect card to the driver of the vehicle behind us. Even though the order was a small one "desserts for a family of 4" we had SO MUCH FUN DOING THIS. We were laughing like little school girls and at the same time trying to secretly peek through our rear view mirror to see who it was we had just slapped an unexpected gesture of kindness on. Our kids in the back seat of our car were now also looking at us wondering what was the big deal. We noticed the driver reading his card and wondered what he might be thinking. No matter how small or large an act of kindness might be, it was an absolute joy and we can't wait to do it again. Everyone should be carrying these golden opportunity cards as we call them in their, wallets, purses, vehicles etc. Thanks So Much For Starting This Amazing Ripple Effect.
