Gearing up for Mardi Gras Street Festival

Food, fun and entertainment - its all part of the 20th Annual Mardi Gras Street Festival in Kelowna.

The event goes this Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm but Executive Director of the Downtown Kelowna Association John Perrott [parrott] says there things to do for the entire family.

"Its really a whole day event and not to forget the Parks Alive concerts that will be happening in Kerry Park beginning at 7:00. So its really its the whole day here in downtown."

Perrott says they also have a few surprises up their sleeves to mark this year's event - but you'll have to head down to Bernard on Saturday to find out.
