RCMP are getting some help with fight against the Hells Angels and other organized crime in the area.
Superintendent Bill McKinnon says two officers from the Lower Mainland will be relocated to Kelowna to investigate organized crime across the Okanagan from Vernon to Penticton.
McKinnon says it's not because there is more organized crime activity here than in other parts of the province.
"The reality is it's extra resources doing the job of investigating proceeds of crime investigations that we deal with on a daily basis."

The additional police will be federally funded and are part of the Integrated Proceeds of Crime Section.
Provincial legislation has been introduced that allows police to seize assets believed to be purchased through criminal activity.
