Great Long Weekend...Thanks cops!

    Long weekend was fun, crazy, busy and wow was Sunday gorgeous. It was the type of weekend where you were actually excited if you got a sunburn. I do want to send out a special thank you to the cops (and no I'm not sucking up right now). I was totally impressed with their presence on the roads this weekend. I went through about two roadblocks between the Central Okanagan and the South Okanagan this weekend and I was IMPRESSED.

    They were making sure folks weren't drinking and driving, had their seatbelts on, driving with a license and all that jazz. So thanks to the police for their extra hours this weekend.

    Plus, cabs...wow are you ever patient! It felt like our population doubled this weekend and they were putting up with drunk people in their cars and doing their best to keep up with the demand. Overall a great May Long weekend. Hope you had a safe and happy weekend and cheers to a short work week.
