Skateboarding tragedy claims 21 year old

RCMP are now releasing details on the accident that claimed the life a skateboarder.

Mounties say the incident occured on Spiers road near K-L-O around 9 last night.

The 21 year old man was hanging onto the passenger door of a vehicle while in motion when he fell from the skateboard, and was accidentally hit by the vehicle, resulting in substantial upper body and head injuries.

The friend called for help, and two passersby gave the man CPR before paramedics arrived.

The man later succumbed to his injuries at KGH.

The identity of the man is being withheld.
