The search for the body of a drowned man in Okanagan Lake could resume sometime next week.

That from RCMP Constable Steve Holmes, who tells us the latest from the Search Coordinator:

"Their hope is something will arrive here on Monday.  Being able to confirm that is difficult at this time.  We don't know when it's going to be finished being used where it is, currently."

In the meantime, police have been periodically flying their helicopter over the lake to look for anything that may surface.

The 48 year old Kelowna man fell overboard two weeks ago while boating near the Tolko Mill Plant.  Holmes says he understands the victim's family is looking for closure:

"We certainly want to make every effort we can to ensure that we've done what we set out to do in order to hopefully find this person one way or another.  Or at least have given it as much effort as possible."
